- It didn’t impact the world, but did impact football during the late 80’s and early 90’s.
Why is there still interest in it today, or why will there continue to be interest in it?
- People are still interested in him because people thought he was going to be great, but eventually was injured.
Why are you interested in researching this topic?
- I’m interested in researching this topic because I watched a documentary on his career which sparked a tremendous interest of what he could have been if he furthered his career in football.
How do you personally connect with this topic?
- I know what it’s like feeling like you could have been something good or great, but ended from lack of opportunity or from an injury.

Of your two topic choices, which one do you think you will find the most information about? Please explain.
- It was tough to choose which one. I know that one topic was a lot easier to find information on, but he also had a long career to accomplish many things. Marcus Dupree had a short career and was considered to be the best running back in the country at one point. I was more interested on Marcus Dupree rather than Deion Sanders.
Of your two topic choices, which one do you really like the best? Please explain.
- I was more interested on Marcus Dupree rather than Deion Sanders because Dupree never got a lot of attention after his short career in football. He was a great athlete that had the potential to be compared to great NFL players like Barry Sanders.
